I was lucky to get to work with the lovely Rachel Rose to photograph this stunning Scottish wedding. Lois and Stuart make such a great couple, their day was full of smiles and laughter. I loved Lois’s wedding dress with a beautiful laced back and flower detailing on the skirt. Her bridal bouquet had a lovely mix of flowers including pink and white roses. Lois chose a delicate tiara and diamond necklace together with a veil for the church ceremony.
Religion is very important to the couple and their ceremony at the Assembly of God Church in Fraserburgh was the centrepiece of their day. However, they were sure to include personal touches to the ceremony, inculding a film telling the story of how they started dating showcasing animated ‘texts’ which had everyone giggling!
After the ceremony, we visited a beautiful ruined Scottish castle where we were able to capture some romantic portraits and Stuart literally swept Lois off her feet! The couple had a large wedding party which included some very dapper little ring bearers and gorgeous little flower girls. We all headed on to their reception where there was drinking, speeches and dancing. The day ended with a fabulous ceilidh filled with tartan kilts and enthusiastic dancing from all ages! Congratulations Lois & Stuart!
