Rachel & Danny were planning a larger wedding, but with all the restrictions in place due to Covid they decided that it was the Catholic church ceremony that was most important to them. Their beautiful Hertfordshire church wedding had only a limited number of guests, but was live streamed so that other friends and family could join online to watch them making their vows. After their intimate church ceremony they continued the celebrations with a back garden wedding reception filled with balloons.

Rachel got ready at home with her bridesmaids in mix and match dresses in pink, green and navy. With a lace dress, long veil and bouquet of pink roses, Rachel looked gorgeous. She had her new name as her something blue on the bottom of her shoes and as her something old, she choose to include her grandmother’s gold chain as a way to feel close to her during the ceremony. She travelled to the ceremony with her dad in a beautiful vintage car.

Danny was waiting at the church with his groomsmen – and within the Catholic church wedding ceremony the whole wedding party were able to stand beside the bride and groom as they exchanged rings. The sun was shining as they left the church in a flurry of confetti! They then headed home for an outdoor wedding reception in their back garden. They had a covered area with a purple balloon arch but mostly enjoyed the perfect weather, celebrating with their guests in the garden.
