I spent a beautiful spring afternoon with Elly and James for this Brockwell Park engagement shoot. Elly grew up by the park and knew all the best spots for blossom, so we explored the paths and the pretty walled garden. I love to photograph my couples somewhere that means something special to them – Elly and James even plan to start their wedding day here doing a Park Run together!
I love to look for different textures and the park was full of beautiful options – ivy covered walls, beautiful blossom, tree bark and pretty pergolas. I had a great time with Elly & James: a pre-wed shoot is a great way to get know a couple before their wedding day, as well as for them to relax in front of the camera. And James only checked his phone once – I loved the expression on Elly’s face when she caught him!
