Nikki & Tom met me on a summer day in Kelsey Park in South London for their London Park engagement shoot. We were briefly photobombed by a friendly squirrel and otherwise enjoyed exploring: walking by the lake, finding hidden away benches and sunny spots in the grass. I didn’t know Kelsey Park, but it was somewhere that meant a lot to Nikki & Tom, close to where they lived when they first met. It’s always special when a couple share a special place with me and I love finding hidden gems in London! Kelsey Park in Bromley was established over 100 years ago, and before that was part of an estate owned by the Lord of the Manor of Beckenham. With quiet tree lined paths, a beautiful lake full of wildlife and more formal flower gardens, it’s definitely somewhere I’ll go back to!

Nikki very kindly wrote about the experience of this London park engagement shoot:

“Hannah was recommended to us by my friend and wedding planner Amore Star Events, as she was using Hannah herself. There is no better testimony in my opinion! We arrived for our engagement shoot on a beautifully sunny spring morning. There were plenty of nerves from myself and my fiancé, not being used to being photographed professionally, and so publicly. However, Hannah immediately put us at ease, advising and gently coaxing as together we explored the location we had chosen, because it meant so much to us. The end result was an enjoyable few hours and a selection of photographs that were truly beautiful, showed us in our best light, and that are a very special keepsake for us and our families”
