Love London
I love London – I moved here for university when I was 18 and now I live here with my husband in a home full of books, art supplies, board games and plants. I love the energy and diversity of the city – from it’s beautiful star attraction buildings to the quiet corners only the locals know. I also love the possibilities London offers. Here you can find life drawing classes with animal models, origami lessons, calligraphy workshops and every other sort of creative class you can imagine. There are exciting events from light festivals brightening the winter streets to rainbow Pride parades, ice rinks by beautiful historic buildings to incredible blooms at the Chelsea flower show. There are shiny skyscrapers offering a birds eye view of the city and quiet paths along the river, there are cafes selling hundreds of types of cereal and elegant places for afternoon tea, there are fantastic photography exhibitions, art galleries and museums. There are also some special wedding venues from yurts and garden centres to botanical gardens and glasshouses. See what I’ve been exploring and share your suggestions.

Love London – Christmas Wreath Workshop with Joanne Truby

Love London – Inktober 2016 – Learning to draw
I love to be creative with my camera, and I've tried to learn to draw and paint several times over the last few years but I find it hard to keep the practice up. I follow several super talented artists and illustrators on instagram and I was intrigued when I saw my...

Love London – Back to school soundtrack
Last year I blogged about the songs providing the backdrop to my summer - time has flown and now it's time for my back to school soundtrack! Here are the five top tunes I'm happy to have stuck on my iPhone and in my head: 1). I'm gonna be (500 miles) by Sleeping at...

Love London – Chelsea Flower Show 2016 – Gardens & Sculptures
I loved the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2016 as there were so many ideas to inspire and admire. Some years I find my attention is mostly caught by the flowers, but this year the gardens and sculptures were my highlights. Some particular favourites were the space-saving...

Love London – Chiswick House Magical Lantern Festival
Following the incredible Lumiere light installations in January, London has been lit up again, this time by the Chiswick House Magical Lantern festival. The festival is a Chinese tradition to celebrate the lunar new year and features amazingly complex lanterns,...
