Essex Wedding Photography – Fennes Wedding – Yee Lin & Neil

I think garden weddings are just magical and the gazebo at Fennes is perfect, allowing a legal civil wedding outdoors. When you add a bride in a stunning lace dress, bridesmaids in mint green, stunning blue and peach flowers, a pastel cake table, a hanging flower wall and so many special details it is perfect! I loved working with Jimmy Cheng to photograph Yee Lin & Neil’s Fennes wedding with a relaxed summer feel.

Fennes is an exclusive use wedding venue, with space for the bride and her bridesmaids to get ready on site. The house itself is beautiful, with an amazing doorway into the garden perfectly framed by long drapes – an ideal spot to photograph the stunning lace wedding dress Yee Lin chose. The weather for this summer wedding was hot and sunny, and chairs were laid out on the lawn in front of the white gazebo, with a flower arch. Yee Lin followed her bridesmaids down the aisle to a singer accompanied by acoustic guitar for this garden wedding ceremony.

After the ceremony, there was time for photos and drinks in the grounds and in the beautiful rooms of the house, before moving into the large and airy marquee for the reception. A pastel cake table with meringues, cake pops and dipped strawberries were just right for a relaxed summer wedding and the three tier semi naked wedding cake was simply decorated with pale blue ribbons and fresh flowers. Sitting by the glass doors leading to the garden, Yee Lin and Neil had a hanging flower wall behind them and beautiful bowls of peach and blue flowers on all the tables, continuing the garden wedding vibe indoors.
