I love garden weddings and was thrilled to join the lovely Rachel Rose to photograph Emily & Stephan’s gorgeous Kent wedding. Emily chose a stunning Suzanne Neville wedding dress with a low v back and paired it with a veil and gold shoes. She got ready at home with her adorable flower girls in white dresses with pink sashes. The wedding ceremony took place in St Marys Church, Goudhurst, a 13th-century sandstone church with an ornate gold candle chandelier. After the ceremony we moved to Stephan’s family home where the celebrations continued in the garden. The marquee was full of the most amazing summer blooms in shades of pink and peach, as well as hops, personalised wine bottle table names, cork place settings and scent diffusers. There was a tower of cheese including heart shaped cheeses as well as a naked wedding cake covered in flowers. We were able to explore the beautiful gardens, which include a small lake, and as the sun set, I was able to capture some romantic lake side golden hour wedding portraits.
